Re: Game version 1.0 1-26-89
Hello world. This is the first program I've put on a bulletin
board. I know it's not the world's greatest program, but it is
my first program in Turbo C.
I've written much more interesting things in Turbo Pascal (and
IBM 370 Assembly), but, since Turbo C is the language of
choice, I thought I would upload programs written in it.
I know a lot of people who put programs on a BBS expect
tons of money, but this program is offered free of charge.
If you tried it, I'd like to get a postcard from you.
This concept, called postcard ware, seems like a good idea
for those programs which have only a short lifespan and which
were written, not to show off programming skills, but to tackle
some minor problem.
I hope to hear from you and to get lots of cool postcards.
Thanks.

P.S. Watch for the next releases from Norasaurus, Inc.
There will be several more postcard ware programs
(word counter, Doctor Who puzzle, etc.) as well as a
couple of shareware programs (suggested fee: ten dollars).
The first shareware program is written for audiophiles
who are recording their record collections on cassette
tape so that they can get rid of the records and buy
CDs...but more on that later.
