  3.                   Welcome to Touch Type Tutor!

  6. There are 3 modes of operation: speed test, tutorial and tutorial game.
  7.  
  8. 1. The speed test mode provides an easy way of measuring the speed of a typist
  9. using selectable styles of text in various categories.  This mode does assume
  10. some basic proficiency at touch typing.  The typist is allowed to practice
  11. with a few lines of text before the proper measurement takes place.

  14. 2. The tutorial mode provides a graduated series of lessons to enable anyone
  15. to learn to touch type.  It does not assume any prior skill but will adapt
  16. itself to the proficiency of the user.

  19. 3. The tutorial game is designed to help familiarize you with finger placement
  20. as well as provide some light hearted relief.

  29. This program is distributed as a Shareware product and as such retains all
  30. copyrights for the author. Permission is granted for individuals and
  31. corporations to copy and use this software in order to try it out.  If you
  32. find this software useful then please register for upgrades and user support
  33. from the author.  The registration fee is $10.  It is an infringement of the
  34. copyright for companies to use this product on a regular basis without first
