  70.     This chapter gives instructions for each menu topic  under
  71. "Print". This is the menu for formating & printing the exam.

  73.     To choose "Print", select "Print Exams" from the main menu
  74. then choose topic "Print". The following screen will appear.

  99.      You must have either selected questions to print or
  100. retrieved an exam in order to print an exam. A page heading is
  101. not mandatory.

  103. 9.1  NUMBER OF COPIES
  104.  
  105.      If you choose "Number of Copies" from the "Print" Menu a
  106. window will appear and ask you to enter the number of copies of
  107. the exam you wish printed. The result of your entry will appear
  108. on the bottom right of the screen under Copies To Print.
  109.  
  110. 9.2  TOGGLE SHUFFLE MODE
  111.  
  112.      If you choose "Toggle Shuffle Mode" from the "Print" Menu
  113. the Shuffle Mode will toggle between ON & OFF at the bottom right
  114. of the screen. See Appendix A, Glossary of Terms for explanation
  115. of Shuffle Mode.

  117. 9.3  TOGGLE SCRAMBLE MODE
  118.  
  119.      If you choose "Toggle Scramble Mode" from the "Print" Menu
  120. the Scramble Mode will toggle between ON & OFF at the bottom
  121. right of the screen. See Appendix A, Glossary of Terms for
  122. explanation of Scramble Mode.

  136. 9.4  TOGGLE BOOK ON/OFF

  138.      If you choose "Toggle Book On/Off" from the "Print" Menu the
  139. Book printing will toggle between ON & OFF at the bottom right of
  140. the screen. See Appendix A, Glossary of Terms for explaination of
  141. "Book".

  143. 9.5  PRINT TO PRINTER OR DISK
  144.  
  145.      If you choose "Print to Printer or Disk" a window will
  146. appear and ask you to enter the 8 character name of the file you
  147. want the exam printed to (The extension .TXT is added
  148. automatically). The name will appear on the bottom right of the
  149. screen. The you can bring the exam into your word processor for
  150. further enhancements and the print the exam with your word
  151. processor.

  153. 9.6  GO! PRINT EXAM
  154.  
  155.      To print the exam choose "GO! Print Exam". Check the bottom
  156. right of the screen to make sure of all the settings are correct 
  157. before starting. The printer should be online and loaded with
  158. paper.

  160.      In case anything goes wrong, press any key to halt the
  161. printer.
  162.  
  163. 9.7  SAMPLE OF PRINTED EXAM
  164.  
  165.      On the next page is a sample of what a printed exam might
  166. look like. It shows an exam printed with shuffle, scramble and
  167. book numbering turned on.
  168.  
  169.      Book Numbering: Next to each question number is printed the
  170. question number from the question bank.
  171.      
  172.      Shuffle Mode : Notice how the questions are not printed in
  173. order from the question bank. Questions 1 thru 6 are actually
  174. questions 3,10,5,12,14,8 from the question bank.

  176.      Scramble Mode : Notice how the multiple choice answers have
  177. been scrambled. Take question 3 (book number 5) for example. In
  178. the question bank the format line reads ~,M,b,2,5 which indicates
  179. that the answer is b. 104 meters.           │

  186.      Now look at how the question was printed. It shows the
  187. scrambled answer set and now the answer has been changed to a.

  189. choice answers with the questions from the question bank shown in
  190. chapter 11, "Question Bank Construction".
