THE POINTS SYSTEM OF THIS `MATH
CLIMBERS' GAME ENCOURAGES PLAYERS TO
DO THEIR BEST. THE FOUR FACTORS
DETERMINING THE GAME SCORE ARE--
1...NUMBER OF RIGHT ANSWERS
IN A ROW
2...SPEED OF ANSWER
3...BASE NUMBER CHOSEN (1-99)
4...LEVEL OF PROBLEM (1-7)
FOR EACH CORRECT ANSWER YOU WILL GET
A REWARD OF 50 BONUS POINTS. THE
BONUS SCORE IS ADDED TO YOUR GAME
SCORE EVERY TIME YOU GET A PROBLEM
RIGHT. THIS MEANS THAT YOUR GAME
SCORE WILL GO UP MUCH FASTER WHEN
YOUR BONUS SCORE IS HIGH. THE BONUS
POINTS WILL BE SET TO ZERO IF YOU
GET AN ANSWER WRONG.
HOW FAST YOU ENTER A CORRECT ANSWER
WILL ALSO AFFECT THE NUMBER OF
POINTS YOU EARN. A QUICK ANSWER
WILL BE REWARDED WITH MORE POINTS
THAN A SLOW ANSWER. TRY TO ANSWER
QUICKLY BUT BE SURE TO GET THE
ANSWER CORRECT -- THAT IS MOST
IMPORTANT.
THE BASE NUMBER CHOSEN WILL ALSO
AFFECT THE POINTS YOU EARN. THIS IS
BECAUSE THE `MATH CLIMBERS' ARE
HARDER AND HAVE LARGER NUMBERS IN
THEM IF YOU CHOOSE A LARGER BASE
NUMBER. WITH A LARGER BASE NUMBER
THE PROBLEMS ARE HARDER AND YOU WILL
EARN MORE POINTS FOR EACH RIGHT
ANSWER.
THE TYPE OF PROBLEM YOU CHOOSE TO DO
WILL AFFECT YOUR SCORE ALSO. THE
'MATH CLIMBERS' ARE HARDER TO DO AT
THE HIGHER LEVELS. IF YOU CHOOSE A
HIGH LEVEL OF PROBLEMS YOU WILL EARN
MORE POINTS FOR EVERY RIGHT ANSWER.
YOUR SCORE WILL KEEP ADDING UP FROM
ONE ROUND TO THE NEXT. TO SET THE
GAME SCORE TO ZERO SIMPLY PRESS THE
CTRL KEY AND THE 'A' KEY TO GET TO
THE ASSISTANCE MENU. WHEN THE MENU
SHOWS UP ON THE SCREEN CHOOSE THE
'CHANGE PLAYER' OPTION.
