Timetables are used to chart the course that a project is expected to
follow. Each timetable you use will based upon a template file set up with
EDITX.COM (accessed by pressing ^E in the MAIN MENU). You should establish a
separate template for each general category of project handled by your office.
Each template (as well as each timetable derived from it) contains a list-
ing of the events that usually take place in the type of project covered by
the template. Each line in the template file consists of an event, an ab-
breviation for that event, the type of event (eg: Deadline or Expectation),
and notes about that event. Also included is the interval (expressed in days)
that is expected between that event and the immediately preceding one and the
date by which you expect that event or task to be completed. If the event is
unrelated to the immediately preceding one but IS related to one of the other
preceding ones, it's note entry should begin with a backslash, followed immed-
iately by the abbreviation of the related event (ed: "\inj"). If an item is
completely unrelated to a preceding one, the interval item should be left
blank. The notes item may also be left blank, if you wish, but every line in
the file MUST have both an abbreviation and a description. The template file
may have no completely empty lines.
Timetables and templates are complicated subjects. You should refer to the
documentation for a more detailed discussion.
