Dear PC-DeskTeam Users:
Some IBM compatibles, such as the Leading Edge and AT&T 6300, and add on
clock boards do not maintain the IBM standard with regard to the storage
of the system time variables. In these situations, PC-DeskTeam's alarm
clock or time display will not indicate the correct time. The time that
will be displayed appears to be the elapsed time since the computer was
rebooted or reset.
The program CLKFIX will copy the system time into the standard IBM time
locations. Simply execute the command CLKFIX. You may want to include
this command in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. It will be necessary to execute
this command each time you reboot or reset the system time.
On some systems the time will appear to run fast over the period
of a day. Simply execute CLKFIX at any time to reset the time.
Thank You
