~Cheesy Invaders
A SHORT REVIEW BY ADRIANO MAURIZIO GRISANTI 1995.
This is your typical invaders shoot'em up clone, but with a touch of
humour added for good measure. The humour starts with the games
title, along with silly comments throughout the game, like a space
ship, which makes a funny noise when shot. All these funny noises
however sound like they have been taken straight from a simpsons
episode.
The game basically involves moving a space craft form left to right
shooting various aliens (using the mouse), these aliens move left to
right and down when they reach the end of each row. Once all the
aliens have been shot you go onto the next level, which is basically
the same, but just gets harder (faster), and the alien sprites change.
Overall this game is funny for the first few games, but soon becomes
boring, making it score only 50% (only good for small children).
