First off let me just say that I really love your magazine and that I've been with you since about issue 5. IE has become better and better with each issue and I look forward to it every month.
Their is however one thing about IE that really bugs me...... It's the humor (or what you guys think is humor.) that you insist on doing in your reviews. Frankly it's really stupid most of the time, so stupid in fact that I actually find myself embarrassed for you and for my computer and have to look away. Even my dog sighs and sometimes leaves the room! I really trust your insights into games.I like the previews better than the reviews but that's because I hate critics. After all, a critic is just giving his opinion on said game or movie or whatever and we all know what they say about opinions. Even so, I generally use you and another publications reviews and base my purchase on the views of both. It's obvious you guys aren't comedians so why not drop the funny stuff and get down to business.. Don't get me wrong, Their is nothing wrong with a little good humor (MMMMM) or some good dry wit but take for instance the review on Heroes of might and Magic in issue 19. All I have to say is give me a break!!!
The other thing I wanted to address was that you had stated that IE might go to two CD's?
You also said that you would probably charge another five dollars? That would make IE FIFTEEN BUCKS PER ISSUE!!!!!! As good as IE is I don't think I or many other people would be willing to spend that much money on a magazine every month. I think you should seriously consider that before committing to it. Maybe once or twice a year have a double issue? I think IE is basically fine the way it is. But that's just my opinion......
