Thanks for the praise, though in truth, there's no such thing as "enough" praise in my opinion! Keep it coming. We can handle it!
SSI has nothing official on a modern variant of Steel Panthers, but given the success the game has had, and SSI's proclivity towards doing sequels, I wouldn't be surprised to hear of such a thing, especially after hacking the OB files and seeing "Main Battle Tank" in one of them. Hope SSI is listening, at any rate.
As for Throg, well, we had a photographer in to take some promo shots, but, well, Throg ate the camera.. Then he ate the photographer (well, he -did- have a face like a cacodemon...). So, until we find someone with a shark cage, I'm afraid you're out of luck.
And your complaint about the new packaging is duly noted. We're working on some way to please you readers while keeping our bean counters happy at the same time. Stay tuned.

Oh, and if no one is working on M1 Tank Platoon 2, or something similar, then there's a great niche not being exploited. Hang tight...it, or something like it, will be here eventually.
