  10. When you start WebMaster for the first time (by double-clicking
  11. the WMASTER3.EXE icon), the program auto-installs and creates a
  12. WebMaster program group.  No other setup is required.

  16. registration messages will appear as a friendly reminder that the
  17. program is Shareware.  Please register--Just $10!

  26. WHAT IS WEBMASTER?
  27. ------------------
  28. WebMaster is a versatile, Billion-Record Capacity Web Page and
  29. E-mail address book that lets you:

  31. + Build and maintain multiple lists, compiled lists, keyword lists
  32.   (by Category, Name, or even File Type)
  33. + Export as Web Page, Text, ODBC, or FoxPro-compatible database files
  34. + Trade addresses between browsers or other applications
  35. + Print addresses to your printer in clean, attractive format
  36. + Keep notes on the sites you visit
  37. + And More--Add WebMaster to your toolbox of useful Internet utilities!

  39. I originally wrote the program to screen my computer's files,
  40. collecting ALL the Web and E-mail addresses that were buried there.
  41. If you're like me, you may save a few Web pages or other files to
  42. your computer while on Internet but rarely have the time or energy
  43. to pore through them for the gold nuggets.  It's too much work to
  44. type every single address ever encountered, and much more fun to
  45. "scan" them directly into WebMaster.  WebMaster scans all non-
  46. encrypted file and address types currently known (incl. Non-Web
  47. and Virtual Reality Markup Language [VRML] docs)!

  50. WHAT IS WEBMASTER USED FOR ?

  52. Some use WebMaster to scan newsgroups (to build a client or topic
  53. e-mail list), monthly "Hot Pick" lists from the Web or CD-ROM, even
  54. Yahoo search results they don't want filling up their bookmark list.
  55. WebMaster is a good alternative to many browser lists, which often
  56. have length limits or simply do not offer the many features WebMaster
  57. provides.  You can also use WebMaster to publish and distribute your
  58. own custom lists to customers, subscribers, or other targets.  Or,
  59. you may be curious about what's buried in the hundreds (thousands?)
  60. of files on your computer right now.  That's how WebMaster began!

  66.   versions, with a better screen layout and 100x the scan speed.

  75. + Multi-lingual interface, plus "Custom" for additional languages.
  76. + European diacritical characters are auto-translated and displayed.

  124. WebMaster is PERFECT for browser-independent address sharing.  Export
  125. your WebMaster list as a Database, then include the pair of database
  126. files (WEBSTUFF.DBF+WEBSTUFF.FPT) with the original shareware ZIP file
  127. (WMASTER3.ZIP) - that's 3 files total.  Please observe:
  128.  
  129. 1) ONLY Distribute the original, intact WMASTER3.ZIP Shareware File
  130. 2) Do NOT create or release any registration password/s
  131. 3) Properly identify WebMaster 3.0 as Shareware
  132. 4) You may include comments/unzip instructions.
  133. 5) Instruct your recipients how to "Import" your database.
