^C---OLD GLORY FOR WINDOWS 3.1 INSTRUCTIONS---
STEP 1 - From the Softdisk PC issue, use the Copy
feature to place Old Glory in your Windows
directory.
STEP 2 - Run Windows 3.1.
STEP 3 - Double-click on the Control Panel icon (usually
located in the and Program Manager).
STEP 4 - Double-click on the Desktop icon in the and Control
Panel window.
STEP 5 - Select OLD GLORY from the pick list of
screen savers in the and Desktop window.
STEP 6 - Click the and Setup button to set the and following
options: SPEED, NUMBER of FLAGS, & PASSWORD
Protection. See "Options" below for
explanations of each. Make your choices and
approve them to return to the and Desktop window.
STEP 7 - Click the and Test button to view the and results.
Return to the and Setup and make adjustments to
suit your computer and sense of aesthetics.
^COLD GLORY FOR WINDOWS SCREEN SAVER OPTIONS
You can set the number of flags to show in the screen saver by selecting the appropriate number from the "Speed" menu. The choices available are: 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, and 20. Of course, the more you display, the slower they will move. Experiment to get the best number for your particular computer.
The following SPEEDS are available: slowest, slow, medium, fast and fastest.
Finally, you may enable or disable password protection at will...but don't forget the password you select!
