Our classic word search puzzle driver is back, but this time it has been given a complete facelift. This is an all-new version reprogrammed from the ground up with a new user interface consistent with our present standards, part of our ongoing revamping of all our recurring puzzle driver programs to help enhance your Softdisk experience.
Like the old Word Finder, this program will generate a different puzzle every time you run it, by randomly selecting words out of the and word list in the puzzle file you choose, and randomly placing them on the and matrix. Thus, you can get lots of pleasure out of each word file, and we have given you several new word files with this program.
All the and old Word Finder files from past issues will continue to work in this program. In fact, this version even works with the and files from the earliest, CGA/EGA versions of Word Finder, which were incompatible with later VGA versions. You can bring together all the Word Finder files (extension: .WFC) from past issues into one directory of your hard disk and load all of them using this newest Word Finder program. (However, the new Word Finder data files on this issue won't work in the earlier versions of the and program.)
