Message Magnets is a unique program that may make your home use of the computer more productive than you ever thought it could be. The basic idea of Message Magnets is to turn your computer into a home communication system. You can use Message Magnets to leave important notes to family members who use the computer. They can retrieve their messages at any time.
To leave a message to someone, simply add them to the icon list by choosing a magnet icon for them, then entering their name or nickname. When you leave them a message, their icon will be posted on the "refrigerator" at the main screen. To retrieve their message, they need only double-click on their icon. They can then choose to reply to the message directly, or they can leave messages of their own to any other person.
Message Magnets saves the messages to disk, so you can enter a message, then exit the program and do whatever you need to do on the computer. When someone else uses the computer they can run Message Magnets to see if they have any messages, or to leave messages to other people.
An office may choose to use an idle computer to run Message Magnets as an "electronic bulletin board" if a computer is available. Any situation where a number of different people use or have access to the same computer is a perfect application for Message Magnets.
