^C^1CRIBBAGE SQUARES
^CBy Roy O'Laughlin
^C(Adapted for the IBM PC by Christine Benoit)
Cribbage is one of those games that many of us have known since childhood. Our
editor, Val Golding, remembers that his parents taught him the game many years
ago, when he was a boy of seven staying at the hospital after a tonsillectomy.
No matter how old you are though, CRIBBAGE SQUARES is sure to challenge you.
The game is played on a 4 X 4 grid. The player (or players) draws 16 cards
one at a time from a deck, placing them on the grid so that different scoring
combinations are formed. To make things even tougher, each card must be
played within a certain time limit (5-60 seconds in this program) or a penalty
is assessed.
To learn more about how to play CRIBBAGE SQUARES, just read the instructions
that can be accessed from the program's main menu. These instructions will
tell you all you need to know about scoring and strategy.
