  2. SYMPTOMS include soft, small painful sores that appear on or near the
  3. exterior genitals 3 to 5 days after sexual contact. They become shallow,
  4. painful ulcers with a red border. Swollen and tender lymph nodes. Abscess.
  5. CAUSES are from Haemophilus ducreyi, a sexually transmitted disease.
  6. TREATMENT. Sulfa drugs, antibiotics.
