Cholecystitis (Chronic)
SYMPTOMS for the Chronic form may vary. There may be occasional nausea and
flatulence. There might be pain in the upper right abdomen and the stomach.
The pain usually appears after a meal or it may awaken a person at night and
it often follows the eating of fatty foods. The pain may spread to the back.
CAUSES are not clear at this time. It is the most common type of gallbladder
disease. It is a chronic, gallbladder inflammatory reaction.
TREATMENT. Surgery may be required.
