Indigestion (Dyspepsia)
SYMPTOMS while or after eating may include heartburn, upper abdominal pain,
nausea, feelings of being full, belching, stomach distention and flatulence.
CAUSES may be from a disease in the intestines, stomach or elsewhere. It
usually involves no organic disorder. It may be caused by rapid eating,
eating gas-forming foods, swallowing excessive air, overeating or eating
while emotionally upset.
TREATMENT. If no underlying disorder, a balanced diet may be required.
.Avoid eating foods that contribute to indigestion.
