  8. ORIGIN: Fictional course using layout of actual course.
  9.  
  10. OBJECTS AND BACKGROUND: The objects used on this course were
  11. "borrowed" from various courses, and the background
  12. originally came from Banff Springs. I wish to thank all
  13. designers whose objects were used in the creation of this
  14. course.

  16. HISTORY: The actual Raintree Country Club is located 20 miles
  17. South of Interstate 270, off Gravois Road (Highway 30) on
  18. Highway B, slightly more than an hour's drive from St. Louis.
  19.          The 10 year old course is cut into hilly and heavily
  20. wooded terrain, and features a tight challenging layout. The
  21. 6129 yard course is liberally sprinkled with river sandtraps
  22. on many holes.
  23.          Tees are a mixture of rye and bermuda, with fairways
  24. of Bluegrass offering an attractive contrast to the bent
  25. grass greens.

  28. THE COURSE: All Yardages taken fron Course Routing. It was
  29. necessary to shorten some holes and lengthen others, but
  30. course yardage was kept within 7 yards of the actual course
  31. length.
  32.            This course features 5 par 5's, 5 par 3's, and 8
  33. par 4's, with an unusual grouping of 3 consecutive par 5's on
  34. #'s 8, 9, and 10. In actuality, all par 5's occur after the
  35. #8 hole.
