ORIGIN: Fictional course using layout of actual course.

OBJECTS AND BACKGROUND: The objects used on this course were
"borrowed" from various courses, and the background
originally came from Banff Springs. I wish to thank all
designers whose objects were used in the creation of this
course.

HISTORY: The actual Raintree Country Club is located 20 miles
South of Interstate 270, off Gravois Road (Highway 30) on
Highway B, slightly more than an hour's drive from St. Louis.
         The 10 year old course is cut into hilly and heavily
wooded terrain, and features a tight challenging layout. The
6129 yard course is liberally sprinkled with river sandtraps
on many holes.
         Tees are a mixture of rye and bermuda, with fairways
of Bluegrass offering an attractive contrast to the bent
grass greens.


THE COURSE: All Yardages taken fron Course Routing. It was
necessary to shorten some holes and lengthen others, but
course yardage was kept within 7 yards of the actual course
length.
           This course features 5 par 5's, 5 par 3's, and 8
par 4's, with an unusual grouping of 3 consecutive par 5's on
#'s 8, 9, and 10. In actuality, all par 5's occur after the
#8 hole.
