  1.                     Radio over your modem......

  3.      The phone wire is acting as an antenna. Make sure the modem is screwed

  5. down  to the computer case or the cable is screwed in at both plugs..  Some
  6.  
  7. motherboards are not grounded (held by clips) and they should be grounded.
  8.  
  9.      Try  some  tinfoil around the phone wire, and the wire  should  be  as
  10.  
  11. short  as  possible.  Slide the foil up/down the wire to de-tune  it.  This
  12.  
  13. usually works, unless the house wiring is picking it up. then you may  need
  14.  
  15. a phone filter (from Radio Shack etc).
