  1. Try  sending  AT&F&W  to the modem from terminal mode to  set  it  back  to
  2. factory defaults.

  4.      If  you  are  using  the  late version  of  software  AND/OR  if  your
  5. modem/fax/scanner  has been working fine but now is not, AND you  have  not
  6. changed/added  any  software/hardware to your system,  then  call  Customer
  7. service  617-423-1072  for RA # for repair. If this is within  30  days  of
  8. purchase, the dealer will usually exchange it.

  10.      All "Rockwell" and "Sierra" chipset modems have a 7 year warranty with
  11. two exceptions. The V32 Turbo modems, and the large white 2400 V42bis modem
  12. have  2  year warranty each.  OOW (out of warranty) repairs  are  $30  flat
  13. rate, including lighting or other damaged ones.
  14.       The circa 1985-87 full card PC modems and  modems with 'TI'  chipsets
  15. can no longer be repaired.
