(Note: Please feel free to distribute this notice to as many people
as you wish...unlike most companies, the more hate letters we get,
the better.)
Though there are lots of how-to guides for writing effective
complaint letters, we, at Letter Press Publishing, know, that often
a polite complaint letter to an unresponsive corporate or government
entity neither gets the results you require nor conveys the levels
of frustration and/or incompetence you have had to endure. On the
other hand, writing effective hate letters is truly an art form that
can often provide more emotional satisfaction, in and of itself,
than getting the response you sought in the first place.
"Hate Mail Hall of Fame," coming this summer from Letter Press
Publishing, is an inspiring, entertaining and thought-provoking
collection of letters from disgruntled consumers and frustrated
citizens seeking justice from the wrongs perpetrated against them by
bureaucrats of all shapes and sizes.
We are now soliciting submissions for Hate Mail Hall of Fame, Volume
I.* There is no limit to how many letters you may submit, but we ask
that you submit copies only. While we cannot guarantee that all
submissions will be published, we will offer free copies of the book
to all those whose letters appear in the finished publication. If
your letter(s) is/are chosen, you will be notified in advance of the
publication date.
(*Note: While we will accept nasty, insulting letters rife with wit
and sarcasm, we will not publish any material that could be
construed as threatening or harassing. The object of this book is
to poke fun, not to perpetuate or condone personal vendettas.)
Please send all letters (along with any replies you received) to:
