  4.  7th Amendment

  6.  In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall
  7.  exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be
  8.  preserved; and no fact, tried by a jury, shall be otherwise
  9.  re-examined in any court of the United States than according to
  10.  the rules of the common law.

  12.  8th Amendment

  14.  Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines
  15.  imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishment inflicted.

  18.  
  19.  The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be
  20.  construed to deny or <« disparage »> others retained by the people.

  24.  The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution,
  25.  nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States
  26.  respectively, or to the people.

  30.  The judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to
  31.  extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted
  32.  against one of the United States by citizens of another State or
  33.  by citizens or subjects of any foreign state.

  37.  The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by
  38.  ballot for President and Vice President, one of whom, at least, 
  39.  shall not be an inhabitant of the same State with themselves; they
  40.  shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and
  41.  in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice President; and
  42.  they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as
  43.  President, and of all persons voted for as Vice President, and of
  44.  the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign, and
  45.  certify, and transmit, sealed, to the seat of the Government of
  46.  the United States, directed to the President of the Senate; the 
  47.  President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and
  48.  the House of Representatives, open all the certificates, and the
  49.  votes shall then be counted; the person having the greatest number
  50.  of votes for President shall be the President, if such number be a
  51.  majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no
  52.  person have such a majority, then, from the persons having the
  53.  highest numbers, not exceeding three, on the list of those voted
  54.  for a President, the House of Representative shall choose
  55.  immediately, by ballot, the President.  But in choosing the
  56.  President, the votes shall be taken by States, the representation 
  57.  from each State having one vote; a <« quorum »> for this purpose
  58.  shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the
  59.  States, and a majority of all the States shall be necessary to a
  60.  choice.  And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a
  61.  President, whenever the right of choice shall <« devolve »> upon
  62.  them, before the fourth day of March next following the Vice
  63.  President shall   act as President, as in case of death, or other
  64.  constitutional disability of the President.  The person having the
  65.  greatest number of votes as Vice President, shall be the Vice
  66.  President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of
  67.  Electors appointed; and if no person have a majority, then, form
  68.  the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the
  69.  Vice President; a <« quorum »> for the purpose shall consist of 
  70.  two-thirds of the whole number of Senators; a majority of the
  71.  whole number shall be necessary to a choice.  But no person
  72.  constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be
  73.  eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.
