  3.   LICENSE NUMBER FORMAT:
  4.   The State  of West Virginia  issues a seven  (7) digit sequentially
  5.   generated numeric  license number that bears  no correlation to the
  6.   driver's personal identifiers.

  9.   DOCUMENT:
  10.   The  laminated,  photographic  license,  manufactured  by Polaroid,
  11.   displays the  driver's photograph in  the upper left  corner of the
  12.   document. The state seal and  camera number overlaps the photograph
  13.   on  the right  edge, and  governor's and  commissioner's signatures
  14.   overlap the photograph at the bottom.

  17.   TERM:
  18.   Licenses are valid for four (4)  years, expiring on the last day of
  19.   the month of issue.

  22.   MINORS:
  23.   Licenses  issued  subsequent  to  August,  1989  show  the driver's
  24.   photograph in profile.

  27.   CDL:
  28.   Commercial drivers licenses are indicated by "COMMERCIAL / DRIVER'S
  29.   LICENSE" immediately below the heading.
