  3.   LICENSE NUMBER FORMAT:
  4.   The State of  Vermont issues an eight (8)  character license number
  5.   that is either all numbers or  7 numbers with one letter (Annnnnnn)
  6.   or (nnnnnnnn).

  9.   DOCUMENT:
  10.   Photo licenses have  plastic casing and gold "STATE  OF VERMONT" on
  11.   the laminate. Non-photo  licenses are of heavy paper  stock or thin
  12.   plastic with green background.

  15.   TERM:
  16.   License is valid either two (2)  or four (4) years, expiring on the
  17.   driver's birthday with a 2-week grace period for renewal.

  20.   MINORS:
  21.   Minor license indicated by "JUNIOR OPERATOR" in a yellow header bar
  22.   on photo  license. Plastic and paper  non-photo licenses are yellow
  23.   and titled with "JUNIOR OPERATOR".

  27.   "COMMERCIAL  DRIVER  LICENSE"  in  blue  headbar,  with  "sex"  and
  28.   "endorse code" boxes designate CDL.
