  1.   DISPLAY OPTIONS HELP
  2.  
  3.   The Display Options Control Panel will permit you to customize some
  4.   of the appearance of your user interface by changing colors of some
  5.   items and other characteristics of others.
  6.  
  7.   <AccessKey>
  8.   This feature allows you to change  the foreground color only of the
  9.   keys used to access menu items. For readability and usefulness, you
  10.   will want  this to be  a colors that  contrasts with the  color you
  11.   choose for the menu background below.

  13.   <Active Border>
  14.   This  feature  allows  you  to   change  both  the  foreground  and
  15.   background colors of the border for the active window.
  16.  
  17.   <Command Button>
  18.   This selection  allows you to  choose the foreground  color for the
  19.   command buttons  used in the  Display Options and  Disk File Output
  20.   dialogs.

  22.   <Desktop>
  23.   This program runs  within a maximized window, so  no portion of the
  24.   desktop  is  ever  visible.  This  selection  will  have no visible
  25.   effects.

  27.   <Disabled Items>
  28.   This refers  to menu items that  are disabled, but still  appear in
  29.   the menu  list. When menu  items are disabled  within this program,
  30.   they are simply  not shown, so this selection  will have no visible
  31.   effects.

  33.   <Menus>
  34.   This  selection will  allow you  to change  both the foreground and
  35.   background colors of the drop-down menu  and the menu bar. You will
  36.   want  to select  colors that  contrast with  the program windows as
  37.   well as the <AccessKey> foreground color selected above.

  39.   <Menu Selected Items>
  40.   This  selection  will  permit   changing  of  both  foreground  and
  41.   background  colors of  the currently  selected menu  item. You will
  42.   want to choose colors that contrast with the ones chosen in <Menus>
  43.   above.

  45.   <Scrollbars>
  46.   This program  does not use  any scrollbars, so  this selection will
  47.   have no visible effects.

  49.   <Title Bar>
  50.   This  selection  permits  changing  both  foreground and background
  51.   colors for the main title bar.  You will want to choose colors that
  52.   contrast with  those chosen in  the <Menu> selection  above. Choose
  53.   colors that prominently display the program title. <Grin>

  55.   [ ] <Three Dimensional>
  56.   checkbox This  selection toggles the  three dimensional display  of
  57.   the  command buttons  used in   the Disk  File Oputput  and Display
  58.   Options dialogs.

  60.   [ ] <Window Shadow>
  61.   checkbox This checkbox (activated by  clicking with the mouse or by
  62.   tabbing to the  field and pressing the spacebar)  will allow you to
  63.   toggle the window shadows on or off as you like.

  65.   [Wallpaper]
  66.   The wallpaper selection  is not used in this  program, so will have
  67.   no visible effects.

  70.   Command Buttons:
  71.   "Press" a command  button by either clicking on  it with your mouse
  72.   or trackball, or by tabbing to it's position and pressing <enter>.

  74.   <OK>
  75.   When you have finished configuring  the program to your liking, you
  76.   can save your options by choosing the OK command button.

  78.   <Cancel>
  79.   Cancel any changes you have made  and return to the USDL program by
  80.   "pressing" this button.

  82.   <Default>
  83.   This selection will reset the  default properties for all the items
  84.   shown in this dialog. It will reset to options and colors different
  85.   from those set when this software  was sold, so be careful choosing
  86.   this option.
