  14.      This file contains installation instructions and any information not
  15.      included in the User Guide.   After installing QTC!, you can print
  16.      the User Guide located in the USERGIDE.DOC file. To print the file,
  17.      change to the drive and directory that you installed QTC! on and type
  18.      COPY USERGIDE.DOC PRN.  You can also view or print this file from QTC!

  23.      QTC! version 2.4 is a shareware database application designed to allow
  24.      users the ability to manage employee work time with ease.    QTC! is fast
  25.      and efficient! You will not have to spend hours learning how it works
  26.      or days to set it up.  Like programs costing $495.00 with three manuals,
  27.      QTC! is powerful!    But unlike these database programs, the programming
  28.      is already done for you.  The new features you will find in QTC! Sv2.4
  29.      are a result of sharware users like you, calling us with great ideas.

  32.      Installation
  33.      ────────────

  35.      To install QTC! simply type INSTALL at the system prompt.    The
  36.      install program will guide you through the installation process.
  37.      You can install QTC! on any drive and directory.  You should have
  38.      at least 2Mb of free disk space for proper installation.
  39.  
  40.      To manually install the QTC! system files, copy the files from the
  41.      disks to a directory and type the file names.  These files are self
  42.      extracting and will unpack all QTC! files.     You should unpack the
  43.      the files in the numeric order.

  48.      Update Information

  51.      If you have an older version of QTC! on your computer, install this
  52.      version in a separate directory. You will need to convert your old
  53.      data files to the new version format.  Please Read the User Guide for
  54.      for more information.  The USER.DAT, DEFPRINT.DAT and PRINTERS.DAT
  55.      are not converted.     You will need to re-enter passwords and any
  56.      printer information that you changed to the print drivers.
