Bar Code Setup Help
PSelect the options for printing Bar Code Labels or press F9 to print.
\Label Type
: Select Continuous or Sheet fed labels.
Print Name
: Select Yes to print employee name.
Bar Code Type
: Press F5 for list. Default = 5
Printer to Use : Press F5 for limited list.
Printer Location: Press F5 for list.
(Bar Code Height : Number of lines. Default = 3
Printer Passes : Dot Matrix Passes. Default = 2
Print Density
: Dot Matrix Density. Default = 2
Lines Per Inch : Printing line size. Default = 6
Characters/Inch : Printing size. Default = 10
Print Ratio
: See Manual. Default = 3
#Page Length
: Lines per page.
Press ESC to Return
Codes Menu Help
1Highlight the Code to print and press the
ENTER key. You can also select the Code
by pressing the respective number key.
6You will have the choice of printing the
list, viewing the list on your screen or
saving to an ASCII file.

Report Setup Options Help
CFrom this screen you can select options to enhance reports
at print time.
u- Select Draft or Letter for print quality
- Select 10, 12 or 17 cpi for the size of print
- Select Yes or No to print box frames around title
- Select Yes or No to print in Italic
- Enter to page length to print
^Press the Ctrl ENTER keys to accept these default setting.

Report Filename Help
EThis procedure will save your report to an ASCII file.
NFile Name : Enter any valid DOS file name. Example;
fQTR4_RPT.TXT
bPrinter
: If you want to include printer control codes,
select a printer. The choices are listed below.
Use the arrow keys to choose one. If no codes
are needed, select NO SELECTION.

Jump To Line Help
<Enter a line number to jump to and press ENTER.
AThe report will then be displayed at that line.

String Search Help
BEnter the search string. The search will stop at the
first occurrence of this string.
\Answer Yes if you want this string search to be case
sensitive.

Lookup Table Help
DThis table lists a selection from which you may choose.
To make a selection, move the highlight bar to the record
you would like to choose and press the ENTER key.
OTo cancel and return, press the ESC key.

PgUp/PgDn keys
- Scroll a page at a time.

Employee List Table Help
DThis table lists the employees that you may choose from.
To make a selection, move the highlight bar to the record
you would like to choose and press the ENTER key.
OTo cancel and return, press the ESC key.

Up/Down keys
- Scroll a line at a time.
PgUp/PgDn keys
- Scroll a page at a time.
^PgUp/^PgDn keys - Move to last or first page.

Report Printing Help
NDepending on the report, you may see screens that ask for search
filter options. These are called Query screens.
dFrom the next screen, select the report print options. They include
print size, quality, italics, frames and page length. You can press
the Ctrl ENTER keys to accept the default settings.
aThe last screen you will see before printing is the Printer Options.
From here, select the number of copies, pages or change printers.

Printer ERROR Help
:The printer is not responding to the computer.
Possible reasons include:
W1. Printer is turned off
2. Printer is unplugged
3. Out of paper
'4. The "On-line" light is not lite.
5. Cable is loose between printer & computer
6. The LPT location is wrong
LCheck the above. Turn printer off then back on
and retry.
