  5.             The end is near. Those around me rush in frantic haste in some
  6.             hope of saving their lives. But, they're efforts are in vain.
  7.             There is no hope of out survival. I shall transcribe the events
  8.             of the last few years in the hopes that someday, some survivor
  9.             will be able to know our fate.

  11. 2001 A.D. :
  12.  
  13.   Nov. 1st  Energy Weapons have been perfected and are now slowly entering
  14.             the militaries of the world. Exo-Skeletal armor is being
  15.             developed, that not only protects from energy weapons but also
  16.             increases the users endurance, strength, and speed.
  17.  
  18.   Dec. 5th  America is ahead of the world in energy production, but civil
  19.             unrest has lead to minor riots and many strikes. Iraq has
  20.             been evading U.N. Weapons Teams and has delayed their
  21.             destruction of some Biological Warfare factories. Alliance
  22.             talks are proposed between Red China and The Arab Nations.
  23. 2002 A.D. :

  25.  Jan. 5th   Russia masses the remaining army is has and tries to regain
  26.             control of the Commonwealths that were once a part of the
  27.             Soviet Union. NATO warns Russia that any hostilities would
  28.             lead to certain military action. Alliance talks have increased
  29.             between Red China and The Arab Nations. Isreal sends commandos
  30.             into Iraq for retailiation for SCUD missle attacks into Isreal.

  32.  Jan. 17th  Russia moves with lightning speed and massive force and takes
  33.             back several of the Commonwealths with a stunning victory. NATO
  34.             warns Russia to move out. Iraq closes its borders and takes the
  35.             U.N. Weapons Teams hostage. The U.N. proposes military action.

  37.  Feb. 1st   U.F.O. sightings have increased globally, and some amazing
  38.             photographs have been taken of a large space craft - these
  39.             are being analyzed by experts now. American Civil Unrest grows
  40.             more intense with the failing economy, riots have grown worse
  41.             leading to 17 fatalities.

  43.  Feb. 25th  Red China and The Arab Nations have formed into a complete
  44.             economic and military alliance called "THE ASIAN RELIANCE"
  45.             forces. NATO grows concern about Russia's stubborness to
  46.             withdraw from The Commonwealths, British and German units have
  47.             arrived at Russia's borders, and more are forth comming. U.N.
  48.             looses it patience with Iraq and begins launching aircraft
  49.             mounted with energy weaponry into Iraq and destroys several
  50.             factories and other targets. One target turns out to be an
  51.             Iranian medical truck bringing supplies into Iraq. The Asian
  52.             Reliance grows wary toward the U.N., despites its many
  53.             apologies.

  55.  May. 7th   A UFO supposedly landed in the Arizona desert today, and massive
  56.             ammounts of evidence have been found - except for the ship
  57.             itself. It also appears that an alien was aboard, as evident
  58.             of footprints left around the landing site. The Government tries
  59.             to keep it under control but it leaks out and begins spreading.
  60.             Riots have gotten very violent in the past few days. The
  61.             Asian Reliance forces have moved into Iraq and has help beef
  62.             up the defences there. The American Carrier, The USS Nimitz
  63.             was badly damaged today by a surprise attack by Asian Reliance
  64.             combat planes. Two other major warships have been damaged and
  65.             three minor ships were sunk. NATO forces grow on Russia's
  66.             western borders, Russia issues a warning for NATO to withdraw
  67.             from its borders.

  69.  Jun. 12th  As the huge fleets of the United States bear and the Asian
  70.             Reliance bear down on one another, they stand poised at the
  71.             brink of war. One move on either side and that would be it.
  72.             The world waits. No shots are fired. The mighty naval fleets
  73.             back down.

  75.  Jun. 17th  A holovision speach by President Quayle reveals that an
  76.             agreement has been reached between the massive superpowers. It
  77.             took facing the possible destruction of the human race, but
  78.             at the last moment, neither side had the guts to push the
  79.             "button". Instead, they set up a holovision conference, aired
  80.             their disagreements, and came to a resolution. At last, in the
  81.             entire bloody history of the planet earth, peace would be
  82.             reached. Plans were underway to dismantle the current nuclear
  83.             force. And the money that was being spent on maintaining the
  84.             nuclear amrs would be channelled to a new destination - a new
  85.             frontier - the exploration of space!

  87.  Jun. 21st  And that brings us to today. The recently gained optimism has
  88.             faded. As I write these final words, the three main holovision
  89.             networks have all aired news reports that a nuclear strike
  90.             is on its way. As Tucson, Az is on the first-strike list, my
  91.             wait will not be long. My only hope is that someone will locate
  92.             this document and bring those responsible to justice. All hope
  93.             for peace is now gone. Nothing will remain of thousands of
  94.             years of evolution will be a nuclear scarred wasteland.
