  3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

  5. FAXTHRU is a service associated with a specific fax line.  When a customer
  6. orders GTE's FAXTHRU service, their fax line will be set up to call forward
  7. to a DID number in the case of a busy signal or no answer situation.
  8.  
  9. FAXTHRU produces the appearance that the fax machine is never busy or out of
  10. paper by forwarding incoming messages which have reached an unavailable
  11. machine to a special overflow "mailbox" on the fax server.  Transmission is
  12. reattempted every four minutes for the first hour and once an hour for
  13. 48 hours thereafter.  The intent is not additional storage space, rather a
  14. means to offset incoming fax traffic jams during peak hours to ensure
  15. reception.  Simply stated, FAXTHRU provides temporary holding and
  16. re-transmission of faxes which could not reach their destination, and does
  17. so without user intervention.

  35.       information from subsidiaries.
  36. -     Insurance claim processing units, law offices.
  37. -     Businesses that consolidate daily sales totals from retail or wholesale
  38.       outlets.
