  13. Here, by popular request(believe it or not) is the recipe for my famous
  14. disgusting cookies that look like cat poops (rolled in grape-nuts, which
  15. makes lovely fake kitty litter.

  17. there are two flavors-chocolate(dark brown), and gingerbread(light brown)
  18.  
  19. I seldom measure carefully so amounts may need adjustment, especially on
  20. flavoring.  the cookies are dense and not very sweet, this is necesssary
  21. so that they will keep their shape during baking.  if you use white flour
  22. or sugar they may be tastier but they won't look like shit.

  24. chocolate ingredients:
  25.  
  26. 1/2 cup honey
  27. 2/3 cup (1 and 1/3 stick) butter, margarine, or lard
  28. 1 egg
  29. 1 tsp vanilla or peppermint extract
  30. 2 cups whole wheat flour
  31. 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  32. grape-nuts(tm) cereal
  33.  
  34. gingerbread ingredients:
  35.  
  36. 1/4 cup honey
  37. 1/4 cup molasses
  38. 2/3 cup(1 and 1/3 stick) butter or margarine, or lard
  39. 1 egg
  40. 2 and 1/3 cups whole wheat flour
  41. spices-ginger, cinnamon, cloves to taste(maybe 1/2 tsp each)
  42. grape-nuts(tm) cereal

  44. mix-ins:
  45.  
  46. coconut(tapeworms)
  47. chocolate chips
  48. butterscotch chips
  49. peanut butter chips
  50. cooked spagetti or ramen noodles(roundworms)
  51. corn
  52. peanuts
  53. orn
  54. peanuts
  55. "those puffy pastel things you find at chinese restaurants
  56.  (to look like the cat ate styrofoam packing pellets-i haven't tried this)

  58. to make:
  59. microwave the honey till it bubbles(about 1 minute). add the butter,(i've
  60. been told using lard makes for a more realistic texture and softer
  61. cookie) and the molasses, if any.  add the egg, mix well, then mix in all
  62. the other stuff. add mix-ins of your choice to some or all of the batter.

  64.  chill 1 hour in the freezer or several hours in the fridge. roll dough
  65. logs of random length and the diameter of cat poops. roll logs in grape-
  66. nuts and bake at 350 degrees till done(maybe 10 to 15 minutes but with
  67. my flaky oven you never know).

  69. serve in a disposable cat litter box on a bed of grapenuts, with a cat
  70. litter scoop.  i hear you get lovely effects by decorating the box and
  71. scoop with melted chocolate or pudding.  i imagine brown sugar might
  72. work as a substitute for the new clumping litters, but i havent tried it.
