Oblivion/2 2.35, developmental history (for beta sysops)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Registration scheme has changed, no longer a need to call long distance,
see the new order.frm
documentation completely re-written by Lasher, almost twice the size of the
v2.30 docs.
More power with the menu editors: '?' used to be one of the only keys you
could not change, but not any more. Check out the main menu on alderaan,
mindcrime suggested this addition, and now i know why!
Netmail support made easier. v7 support partialy implemented, new, easier
search methods, alot more online help here. More configurable prompts
as well.
New menu command ".U" this is similar to the existing ".T" command in that it
creates a DOOR.SYS drop file, and executes the file in the CString, however
this command also reads the values of the dropfile back into the program,
this gives an enormous amount of power to the sysop. You can write simple
programs and modify a users ACS according to its results, etc.. the uses are
endless (call back verifiers, check the title of a cdrom then modify acs, etc..)
New WFC screens! By default the WFC is randomly displayed from a choice of 3,
Fusions, Aphix Twins, and Chromatiks.. you can override this with -wfc1, -wfc2,
etc.. or just press <tab> from within the WFC to switch to the next one.
Major revamping of the message base editor, preparing for multiple message
formats. (use the message base COPY command, instead of message base create
command to make multiple message bases MUCH faster)
added |00 support, for pitch black text (with or without a colored background)
this now works in message text as well as oneliners, etc..
added minidos commands RECV, MD, RD, EDIT, HELP, X, HANGUP
%8 = node number in protocal editor. (easier to setup protocals for multi-
node boards now)
added random ANSI display with the -F command key - make the CString of a
command ANSI.ANS and if ansi.ans does not exist, it will show a random
ansi of the files ANSI.X where X can be any number up to 255. No more excuse
for Renegade users to complain!
made several small speed optimizations
added more online help
