  25. By striking the F10 key, whenever the program is not busy, a preference dialog will appear.  You may enable, or disable, the background music and transition effects.

  27. Slow Screen Transitions

  29. On systems that exhibit slow video performance the transition effects may be unacceptably slow. To disable the transition effects, simply strike the F10 key while in the program interface and turn the Transitions checkbox off.

  31. Running Demos That Use Video

  33. Multimedia demonstrations may not run on laptops configured  with Windows 3.x and network software.  Contact your laptop manufacturer if you experience these difficulties.

  35. Un-installing the Program

The installation process for this CD-ROM simply creates a "Computer Life" program group and program icons.  To remove all trace of the CD-ROM from your system, just delete the "Computer Life" program group using the Program Manager's File/Delete menu items.  Make sure the the "Computer Life" group is selected before doing this.

  39. If you made a change using the "Preferences" dialog box, a small file was created in your Windows directory, usually C:\WINDOWS, named CLMEGA.INI. You may delete this file.
