  6.   Review..As the recent repeat of Monty Python on the box showed, there is still a lot of life left in
  7.   their material, despite the number of people that know the sketches off by heart.  There is a
  8.   timeless quality to most of the material, though Coventry City winning the FA Cup ruined a classic
  9.   Python Sketch.
  10.      "The Instant Monty Python CD Collection" is as the name implies a box set and this
  11.   particular set contains 6 CDs that cover all 8 original Python albums.  Here you have pretty much
  12.   all the Python you could possibly want.
  13.      All the classics are here, as well as those lesser know sketches.  Admittedly some of the
  14.   songs lose a lot when the visuals are taken away, but most skits are strong enough to make it on
  15.   their own.
  16.      As with most box sets there is a booklet that comes with this and whacky is probably the
  17.   best word to describe it.  There are clips from the various albums,as well as the music for the
  18.   classic "Bing Tiddle Tiddle Bong", the lyrics for "The Lumberjack Song" and the script for the
  19.   stoning scene from "The Life Of Brian".
  20.      That brings us nicely onto the songs, as well as the films.  Generally the films get a clean
  21.   run, although "Monty Python & The Holy Grail" & "Life Of Brian" get to share their discs with half of
  22.   "The Contractual Obligation Album".
  23.      There is little comedy that is as sustaining as this, with the possible exception of The
  24.   Goodies and those old Not The Nine O'Clock News albums.  Part of the reason for that is the off
  25.   the wall nature of the material.  Somehow despite the fact you know what is going to happen it's still
  26.   funny.
  27.      This is good stuff, and to use a really nasty pun, here is an opportunity to get the full monty. 
  28.   This is  is an opportunity not to be missed.  A chance to look on the brightside of life where every
  29.   sperm is sacred and every parrot dead and you're never quite sure when the Spanish Inquisition is
  30.   going to appear.
