  1. OPERATION DIPSTICK REFINERIES RAID
  2.  
  3. Oil is still the most precious commodity.
  4. The refineries of Lutzkendorf, Leuna, 
  5. Bohlen, and Zeitz have recenlty switched
  6. all their production over to fuel for
  7. the new Nazi jets.  Bomber Command has
  8. opted for a single combined raid to 
  9. knock these refineries out.
  10.  
  11. As the mission starts your escort has
  12. been successfully engaged and drawn off
  13. by Luftwaffe fighters before you reach 
  14. the target area. As such you will be 
  15. flying over these heavily defended
  16. targets on your own. Opposition is 
  17. expected to be heavy and vicious and 
  18. there is a good chance that you will be
  19. up against some of the Luftwaffe's top
  20. pilots.

  23.  
  24. You are the third group in the bomber
  25. stream and as such you will be bombing
  26. the third target, the Bohlen refinery.
  27.  
  28. Fly in formation with the group and 
  29. attack your assigned target and head 
  30. for the airbase at Babenhausen that has
  31. just been captured and made operational.
