OPERATION DIPSTICK REFINERIES RAID

Oil is still the most precious commodity.
The refineries of Lutzkendorf, Leuna, 
Bohlen, and Zeitz have recenlty switched
all their production over to fuel for
the new Nazi jets.  Bomber Command has
opted for a single combined raid to 
knock these refineries out.

As the mission starts your escort has
been successfully engaged and drawn off
by Luftwaffe fighters before you reach 
the target area. As such you will be 
flying over these heavily defended
targets on your own. Opposition is 
expected to be heavy and vicious and 
there is a good chance that you will be
up against some of the Luftwaffe's top
pilots.

              Mission Orders

You are the third group in the bomber
stream and as such you will be bombing
the third target, the Bohlen refinery.

Fly in formation with the group and 
attack your assigned target and head 
for the airbase at Babenhausen that has
just been captured and made operational.
