  1. Dave Ulrich Dave Ulrich (Red Light)- Dave Ulrich here throws his lot into the
  2. solo guitar arena and fairly strong a shot it is. All of the tunes feature his
  3. skillful fretwork, but for diversity (and taste) he enlists the aid of
  4. violinist Jerry Goodman in several tunes. "Rondo In D" is just plain tasty
  5. in its contrast between acoustic violin and classical guitar. The effort
  6. starts out with "Fury" which itself begins with an amusing vocal bit quickly
  7. mutating into some heavy riffing. There are aspects of metal, jazz, classical
  8. and even rap here; enough to keep the interest of most listeners. This stuff
  9. is well-constructed and quite melodic. Check out "Majestic Solitude" for some
  10. feel with changes a plenty. (7)
