General/Modem Setup Help
This module allows you to setup miscellaneous options that effect
several features of ClickComm and your modem.
Simply move the 'X' to the desired selection, or type in the value, and
proceed to the next field. As you move from field to field you will
notice the messages at the bottom of the screen will change. These are
quick help messages.
Keyboard interaction
--------------------
TAB/Shift-TAB : Moves you from one option to another option.
Enter : Moves you from one option to another option.
Up/Dn Cursor Keys : This will move the 'X' placed next to the
selected item in this field.
Left/Right Cursor Keys : Moves you left and right in the field.
Ctrl - Right Cursor, : increases/decrease the Keyboard and mouse
Ctrl - Left Cursor click rate.
Alt - D : Deletes the value in the field.
Home : Places you at the begining of the field.
End : Places you at the end of the field.
Escape/Alt - C : Aborts and Exits this Module
Alt - O : Saves all changes and exits this module.
Alt - H : Provides help for this module
Mouse Interaction

Selecting an option: Left Click on the option you desire to change. If
it is button field, it will move the 'X' to the
value you click on. If it is a string field,
it will place the cursor at the start of that
field.
Saving changes : Left Click on the OK
Help : Left Click Help
Aborting : Left Click Cancel or '■'

1 - Hang-Up Prompt
Turns on or off the box that prompts you whether you want to hangup the
modem.
2 - ANSI Music
Turns on or off ClickComms ability to play ANSI music.
3 - Adlib/Blaster
Turns on or off the porting of ANSI music to an Adlib or Sound Blaster
Card.
4 - Scroll Back Buffer
Sets the number of lines you wish the scroll back buffer to handle.
The maximum number of lines the scroll back buffer will handle is
255. If it reaches this point it will purge the lines at the beginning
of the buffer.
To activate the scroll back buffer hit Alt - B. You will be presented
with a screen of data that has previously been captured to this buffer.
You can scroll through this screen using your PgUp, PgDn, Left, and
Right cursor keys. Hit Escape to exit back to terminal mode.
5 - Capture File Buffer
Not currently in use. Future expansion.
6 - Dial Time
Sets the amount of time, in seconds, to wait before dialing the next
tagged dialing directory entry.
7 - Redial Pause
Sets the amount of time, in seconds, to pause between dialing tagged
directory entries.
8 - Initialization
This is the string of modem commands you wish ClickComm to use when
resetting/initializing your modem.
9 - Dialing Prefix
This is the dialing prefix you wish to use when dialing a entry.
ie: ATDT - Modem would receive the command ATDT###-####
ATD - Dial Tone
ATP - Pulse Tone
, - insert a 2 seconds delay.
@ - insert a 5 second delay
w - wait for a dial tone before proceeding
(not available on all modems)
" - tells modem to treat alphabetic characters as numbers.
(not available on all modems)
r - reverse originate/answer frequencies. used before or after
phone number when calling a modem that is designed only to
orginate phone calls, no to receive them.
! - Flash the switch hook. The modem goes off hook for .5 seconds,
on hook for .5 second, then off hook again. used with certain
phone systems to transfer calls etc., as well as certain cases
where multiple modems share a single phone line.
(not available on all modems)
10 - Dialing Suffix
This is the dialing suffix you wish to use when dialing a entry.

11 - Connect String
This is the string of characters ClickComm will look for to determine
if a successful connection has been established.
12 - Hang-Up String
This is the string of characters ClickComm will issue to the modem
when you instruct ClickComm to hangup the modem.
13 - No Connect Strings
These are strings of characters that ClickComm will look for to
determine whether a connection has been made or possible.
14 - Keyboard and Mouse Click Rate
The keyboard and mouse click rate sets the speed at which your keyboard
and mouse will operate at.
