  13.        3        lb    Beef - boiling                                    
  14.        6        qt    Water - cold                                      
  15.        2        Tbsp  Salt                                              
  16.        2        ea    Carrots                                           
  17.        3        ea    Onions                                            
  18.        1/2      ea    Cabbage - head                                    
  19.        4        ea    Celery - stalks - chopped                         
  20.        1        can   Tomatoes                                          
  21.                       OR                                                
  22.        2        Tbsp  Tomato paste                                      
  23.        1        can   Peas                                              
  24.        1        cup   Potatoes - diced

  26.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  28.     Cook beef in water and salt 1 1/2 hours. Then add carrots, onions,    
  29.     cabbage, celery. One-half hour later add tomatoes, peas, potatoes and 
  30.     2 T. rice soaked in cold water 1 hour. Cook until rice is done. Add a 
  31.     dash of pepper and serve.
