  17.        1        cup   Milk - sour                                       
  18.        1        tsp   Baking soda                                       
  19.        3        cup   Flour                                             
  20.        1        tsp   Baking powder                                     
  21.                       Top:                                              
  22.        1        cup   Sugar                                             
  23.        1        ea    Egg                                               
  24.        1        cup   Maple syrup - dark                                
  25.        3/4      pt    Water                                             
  26.        1        Tbsp  Vanilla

  28.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  31.     Mix these ingredients and spread in 3 unbaked pastry lined pie plates.
  32.     Pour over top the following:

  34.     Mix togther. Bake in moderate oven.

  36.     Note: Moderate oven in 350 - 400 F. Assume a 350 F. oven.
