  14.        1/4      tsp   Cream of tartar                                   
  15.        1/4      tsp   Salt                                              
  16.        1        cup   Sugar                                             
  17.        1        tsp   Vinegar                                           
  18.        1        tsp   Water

  20.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  22.     Beat whites, cream of tartar and salt until stiff but not dry. Add    
  23.     sugar, vinegar and water, beat. Put in Pyrex pie plate, bake one hour 
  24.     very slowly. Fill with fresh fruit,  topp with whipped cream or fille 
  25.     with ice cream.
