  16.        1        tsp   Shortening - heaping                              
  17.        1/2      cup   Sour cream                                        
  18.        1        cup   Flour                                             
  19.        3        cup   Whole wheat flour                                 
  20.        1        tsp   Baking soda                                       
  21.        1        tsp   Baking powder                                     
  22.        1/2      cup   Nut meats                                         
  23.        1        cup   Raisins                                           
  24.                       Salt - a pinch

  26.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  28.     Bake in quite a hot oven. Makes 4 dozen drop cookies.

  30.     Note: Cream sugar, shortening, add remaining ingredients. Hot oven is 
  31.     400 - 450 F.
