  13.        1        qt    Molasses - baking                                 
  14.        1        pt    Brown sugar                                       
  15.        1        pt    Lard                                              
  16.        1        pt    Milk - sour                                       
  17.        8        tsp   Baking soda - level - dissolved in milk           
  18.        2        Tbsp  Ginger - level                                    
  19.                       Flour - to make stiff dough                       
  20.  
  21.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  23.     Let stand over night. Roll thin, glaze top of each cookie with 1 whole
  24.     egg beaten light. Bake in hot oven. Makes 1/2 bushel.
