  14.        2        tsp   Baking powder                                     
  15.                       Salt                                              
  16.        1        cup   Sugar                                             
  17.        1        Tbsp  Butter                                            
  18.        1        tsp   Vanilla                                           
  19.        1        tsp   Lemon                                             
  20.        3        Tbsp  Water - hot                                       
  21.        1        cup   Dates                                             
  22.        1        cup   Pecans                                            
  23.        2        ea    Eggs - well beaten

  25.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  27.     Cream sugar and butter. Add extracts, hot water, dates and nuts. Add  
  28.     well beaten eggs, dry ingredients, sifted together. Spread in pan 8 x 
  29.     10 x 12. Bake 30 minutes at 325 F.
