  13.        1        cup   Cottage cheese                                    
  14.        1        ea    Egg                                               
  15.        1/4      cup   Milk                                              
  16.        1        cup   Flour - sifted                                    
  17.        2        tsp   Baking powder                                     
  18.        1/2      tsp   Salt

  20.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  22.     Beat egg, add cottage cheese and mix thoroughly. Stir in milk and     
  23.     sifted dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls in deep fat in skillet at
  24.     375 F. Fry until brown on both sides, 4 to 5 minutes. Drain on        
  25.     absorbent paper. Makes 10 fritters.
