  11.     INGREDIENTS ------------------------------------------------------------

  13.        2 1/2    cup   Flour - general purpose                           
  14.        1        cup   Buttermilk                                        
  15.        1/2      tsp   Baking powder                                     
  16.        1        Tbsp  Shortening - rounded                              
  17.        1        tsp   Soda                                              
  18.        1        tsp   Salt

  20.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  22.     Mix quickly, roll about 1/2-inch thickness. Fold and roll again. Cut  
  23.     out with biscuit cutter and place on greased baking sheet. Bake       
  24.     imediately in a hot oven about 400 F about 10 minutes. If sour milk is
  25.     very sour, add more soda.
