AVERAGE USERS MONTHLY
An electronic media magazine dedicated to the support of
the average user. No extensive technical jargon, nothing to
insult the intelligence of someone who obviously has the
knowledge to download these files.
DISCLAIMER: The views represented herein do not necessarily represent
the views of the editors. Monthly contributors assume all
responsibility for ensuring that articles submitted do not
violate copyright protections.
NOTE FROM EDITOR: This month we've pretty much thrown seriousness and
respectability out the window. Ever wondered what that
person you're sending messages to means by this: ;)
Look at it sideways! A smiley face! What a huge step up
above having everyone force you to "Have a nice day!"
constantly. COWS! We all have this fixation with barnyard
animals. Don't you? All (most) of the cows you've ever
seen compiled in one place!
Back to the normal, we have news regarding the new U.S. Robotics
line of courier modems. With v.32 Terbo we may have AFFORDABLE 21.6k+
speeds. Maybe Supra, etc. will clone or reverse engineer them as well. Then
we can get the same modem for half the price!
It seems that three of the systems that volunteered to be distribution
sites for the AUM went belly up in the last little while. Did anyone
notify me? No. One was even a FREQ site. C'mon guys. Even if you hate
this magazine, at least be polite and save me some potential Long Distance
charges.
TTYL!
