  7. Version 1.4 of the CP/M UNARC utility:
  8.  
  9. * Corrects a bug that caused incorrect extraction of certain files from
  10.   archives created by version 1.1 or later of the MS-DOS program PKARC.
  11. * Provides automatic pausing of console output after every 23 displayed lines,
  12.   with optional command line override for continuous display.
  13. * Provides assembly language overlay file for simplified installation of RCP/M
  14.   versions or special options.
  15. * Adds standard option to bypass unsupported BDOS call in certain non-standard
  16.   implementations of CP/M (eliminating UNARC-P1.NOT patch notice for UNARC12).
  17. * Additional minor improvements (complete list in UNARC.HIS history file).

  33. These files will normally be distributed, in (possibly) squeezed or crunched
  34. form, within a library file, UNARC14.LBR.  (The CRCK and CHEK values shown
  35. above apply to the uncompressed versions of these files, however.)  Item 5 may
  36. be used to provide a requested program description after uploading UNARC14.LBR
  37. to a remote access system.
  38.  
  39. Items 7 and 8 are provided primarily for RCP/M sysops and/or technically-
  40. oriented users with non-standard system requirements.
  41.  
  42.                      NOTE
  43.  
  44.     8080/8085 USERS:  The file UNARCA.COM is an alternate version
  45.     of the program which will run on your systems.  However, it is
  46.     larger and substantially slower than the standard (Z80-only)
  47.     version, UNARC.COM.  (UNARCA.COM will run on ALL CP/M systems,
  48.     but it is specifically NOT recommended for users with Z80's!)
  49.  
  50.     RCP/M SYSOPS:  Generation of a secure version of UNARC for
  51.     remote use has been simplified by the introduction of the
  52.     overlay file UNARCOVL.ASM.  See also UNARCLUX.FIX if you use
  53.     the LUX library/archive utility program.

  55. The UNARC.DOC file provides a complete program description and user operating
  56. instructions.  Refer to the notice in that file regarding rights of use and
  57. distribution of this program and its associated documentation files.
