  1. TITLE:   Printing Graphics With Facelift Results in a UAE

  5. PROBLEM:

  7. During the process of printing to the Bitstream Facelift shell, a document 
  8. containing graphics, an "Unrecoverable Application Error, Terminating Current 
  9. Application" results.
  10.  
  11. SOLUTION: 
  12.  
  13. An "Unrecoverable Application Error" (UAE) may appear when printing files 
  14. containing graphics if the Bitstream Facelift shell (version 1.2) is being 
  15. used.  A workaround to this problem is to disable Ami Pro's background 
  16. printing function.

  18. HOW TO TURN OFF AMI PRO'S PRINT IN BACKGROUND (AMIPRINT) OPTION
  19.  
  20.  1. Load Ami Pro.
  21.  2. Choose Tools / User Setup.
  22.  3. Choose Options.
  23.  4. Remove the X from the Print in background Speed option.
  24.  5. Choose OK.
  25.  6. Choose OK.
  26.  7. Reprint the file.

  28. If a solution is developed which will allow using the Ami Pro print in 
  29. background option, this Technical Support Note will be updated with the 
  30. pertinent information.
