TITLE:   Printing Graphics With Facelift Results in a UAE

PROBLEM: 

During the process of printing to the Bitstream Facelift shell, a document 
containing graphics, an "Unrecoverable Application Error, Terminating Current 
Application" results.

SOLUTION: 

An "Unrecoverable Application Error" (UAE) may appear when printing files 
containing graphics if the Bitstream Facelift shell (version 1.2) is being 
used.  A workaround to this problem is to disable Ami Pro's background 
printing function.

HOW TO TURN OFF AMI PRO'S PRINT IN BACKGROUND (AMIPRINT) OPTION

 1. Load Ami Pro.
 2. Choose Tools / User Setup.
 3. Choose Options.
 4. Remove the X from the Print in background Speed option.
 5. Choose OK.
 6. Choose OK.
 7. Reprint the file.

If a solution is developed which will allow using the Ami Pro print in 
background option, this Technical Support Note will be updated with the 
pertinent information.
